The Guyana Diaspora Sustainability & Investment Conference is a one-of-a-kind event. Supported by the Guyana Ministry of Foreign Affairs and privately managed it is focused on the global Guyanese diaspora in terms of theme, speaking agenda and extra conference activities. With diversity at the centre of the ethos of the conference every effort is made to ensure the six peoples of Guyana are represented as best as possible.
For many years Guyana has been regarded as one of the poorest countries on earth and relegated to relative obscurity. However, with the advent of Oil & Gas exploration in 2015 Guyana’s economy is on track to be the fastest growing on earth. This type of transition requires vision, discipline and a commitment to transparency to ensure ALL Guyanese feel they are equally entitled to the new wealth coming out of their nation’s ground.
